Description
A new and innovative method of coarse fishing is jigger float fishing, where the small float is sliding on the mainline up to a top stop. This allows the jig and bait to be inserted between the sinking grains of groundbait (e.g., corn, seeds, stones) that are baited or cast with a slingshot, free to sink with its own or with minimal additional weight sinking, amongst the other sinking groundbait. A long pole or with a spinning reel (e.g., Bolognese) is a good way to perform the casting. It is very effective method when the fish feeds at midwater rather than on the bottom. The body material is quality balsa wood. Thanks to the self-weight built into the float, the body will still adjust to the vertical position even if no weight is placed on the line.
